    Restitution experiment.
    here we have balls ranging in restitution from 0.1 to 1.0 in 0.1 increments.
    as you can see, the first three are pretty dead ...
    and the last three a bit hyper. ;)
    the one with restitution of 0.7 [7th from the left] ...
    seems a fairly realistic simulation of a bouncing ball.
    will narrow the range down in the next example.

    Restitution 2
    restitution varying from 0.5 to .75 in 0.025 increments.
    Yellow at 0.5, Brown at 0.6, Green at 0.7
    as far as i can tell, 0.70 rebounds to appoximately
    half of it's height with each bounce.
    those above 7 still a bit jittery.
    so there is a fairly nice range of 'bounce' to choose
    from depending on your application.

    well varn88 ...
    for me, experimenting with/simulating physics ... IS fun. ;)
    try to think of it as providing information that others
    can utilize in their own creations.

    and yes ...
    imo, ime ...
    figuring out and getting a handle on the subtleties
    and nuances of how things work ...
    not only can, but does ...
    lead to new possibilities ...
    one of them being ...
    more accurate/better puzzles/simulations.-----------------

    doesn't work quite as expected.
    doesn't appear the collisions are totally elastic.
    will have to play with it.
