    that's something we've suggested before ...
    which would come in very handy ...
    being able to change the properties of a group
    of selected objects.

    i have found i can change glued objects ...
    it's easy to add one ...
    select 'display glued parts' ...
    click on the glued bunch, then use cntl left
    click to select the new part.
    they should all be highlighted now.
    press 'G' or glue.

    to remove one ...
    again select 'glued objects' ...
    cntl/click on the part you want to remove ...
    all the rest should remain highlighted ...
    and it should be unhightlighted.
    press 'G' or glue.

    that 'should' work. ;)

    sometimes i find objects i don't want to change
    are still selected, and i end up deleting them
    or moving them when i didn't intend.-----------------

    i am in the middle of a sorter and forgot to make a bunch of the objects have a collision category

    @ cheetah that exact same thing happened to me I hade to chang the prpoprates of all the glued shapes.-----------------

    yes ...
    i'm learning to think way ahead ...
    and change the properties of an object
    before i clone it whenever possible.
    but ...
    changes are always needed to fine adjust
    levels, so i am always running into this wall.

    i think that is one thing that we should have
    Tapir put to the top of his ToDo List.
    if he doesn't come back soon ...
    we may have to go to China and get him. ;)-----------------

    Cool idea! Although it is useless in most cases, but I think some special designs really need it.

    you can put the hinge on the center.

    currently, to rotate an object, a hinge must be participated in.
    In later versions, you may set the angle velocity directly.-----------------

    What cheetah wants to do is to rotate an object on a hinge in the editing mode, not in playing mode. Currently, if you press shift or use the rotate tool the object will rotate on it's center. If we have a rectangle attached to the ground with a hinge on its left, it would be nice to have the option to rotate it on the hinge, to make easier to design a level.-----------------

    yes ...
    to be able to select the point of rotation when 'designing/editing' an object.
    this idea was presented here:

    and i illustrated the way i 'cheat' to accomplish it.

    currently, it seems the 'center' is calculated somehow using
    the mass of the glued/selected objects.
    not sure just how that is done.

    i have since found other ways ...
    ie, glue my object to a cloned/mirrored object so the common
    center is at the point where i want my center to be in the end ...
    then delete the mirrored object once i have created what i want.
    but it's a pain to have to do so.

    how much simpler it would be to be able to select the rotation point.-----------------

    mass has nothing to do with how fast something falls ...
    with how fast it is accelerated by gravity.
    the acceleration will always be the same ...
    ie, 9.8m/sec/sec

    have you never seen the experiment of dropping a
    feather and a steel ball in a vacuum chamber?
    they both fall at the same speed.
    the only reason a feather falls slower in real life
    is because of air resistance.

    now once Tapir gives us air resistance ...
    well then. ;)

    mass only comes into play during collisions ...

    I will add linearDamping and angularDamping options for shapes in next version. Currently they are both 0.
    This will make "hitted the groud at the different time" posibble.

    I will also add allowSleep and isSleeping options.-----------------

    yes ... that's what 'density' is.
    so give your steel a higher density than your plastic.
    and Tapir ...
    they will not hit the ground at different times ...
    not in freefall ...

    no i donst need hollow circles.
    I need poly-circles for other colors.
    At Moment i only can use the 6 standard-circles (infected, uninfected, green, breakable etc.) but i can´t change the color.
    Or is there a trick for it?

    for the sliding joint i want to be able to set how many times to have it go back and forth
    rather than just one half or forever

    and for rotating joints as well ...
    to be able to have the option of having them rotate
    a given amount, reverse ...
    just once or however many times.
    would also be good to be able to alter the degrees ...
    ie: rotate 60 CW, stop, rotate 45 CCW ... repeat ...
    or go onward to the next step.

    and of course ...
    having user input would be way cool!
    iow, clicking to start/stop a motor ...
    or vary it's speed in real time.-----------------

    they can already rotate cw or ccw without limit ...
    but yes, the friction would be interesting.
    one can decrease the torque limit so sort of
    simulate that, but it isn't the same thing.-----------------

    The "back and forth" times and "forth m degrees then back n degrees" are in to-do list already.

    Giant levels can be posted in about 3 days.

    a hinge that has some friction ...
    is not frictionless.
    as it is now, a hinge will move just from gravity ...
    and if not perfectly balanced, will move.
    so it would be good to have a variable resistance to
    overcome before it would move.
    also, once a nonmotorized hinge begins to move ...
    it will move forever ...
    unlike a real object that will slow down over time
    due to friction, and eventually stop.
    so it would be good to be able to adjust that.

    seems to me it would be closely related to joint torque ...
    where a joint will slip under too much force ...
    a joint with some friction ...
    wouldn't move until there is a certain amount of
    force/weight applied.

    so perhaps it might be implemented as a hi and low
    range of torque ...
    some friction to be overcome on the low end ...
    but able to slip on the high end.-----------------
