    now, you can assign a texture for a circle, rectangle and polygon shape in the composite module editing dialog.
    This feature will also be available for corresponding shape entities.

    And some more world settings added. Now you can adjust the simulation parameters.

    I also made some improvements for the 8-handlers-ring in the composite module edit panels.
    - now you can move the ring by dragging it.
    - add context menu for the 2 flip handlers
    - once you assign a texture for shape, you can hold CTRL and use the 8 handlers to modify the transformation of the texture.

    only one new feature: sound. 2 sound APIs located in world/sound package are also added.
    Please press F4 to open the sound asset manager dialog.
    Select "Load Local Sounds" in the context menu.

    Currently, only mp3 format is supported. and the sampling rate must be 11,025, 22,050 or 44,100.
    for some unknown reasons. even if these restrictions are satisfied, it is still possible a sound is not playable.
    And please be careful on the sound file size. A large sound file will make the file saving lag for a long time.
    For flash doesn't support multi-threads, this problem will be not resolved for some time.
    This is one reason why I want to discard the flash platform later.

    Its maybe more puzzle in drop n' bounce and create a game that a picture was divided and you have to fix the picture.

    Nice, but... It seems old designs (even pre-preview, those are without modules) don`t work completely. If you can`t do anything with it, you can at least make a converter.

    Heh, I forgot to leave this nice design a comment! :P
    I've been testing the image button thingy a few times. I found out that the sensor area of the button is only as the size of the default image. That is, as if the MouseOver and MouseHold module(s) are of a different size, it goes weird. Hmm. I'll just try to make synced art :)-----------------

    There will be some other problems if the hit-test-regions are not consistent between MouseUp, MouseOver and MosueHold states.
    I will add an option for this if you think it is really needed.

    In v1.58 and v1.59, two new value types are added: module and sound.
    but maybe you have found that there is not the corresponding Array APIs for the 2 new types.
    Yes, the current Array APIs design is not good and will be discarded in the future.
    The reason is there will be tons of new value types introduced later.
    It is impossible to add a new Array API set for each new type.

    And v1.59 would be the last version support register variables.-----------------

    @Tapir: I can`t reproduce it too. (Only for pre-preview designs. It happens for designs from preview version)

    Everything was invisible but links between event handlers. I could play it with neither errors, nor objects. I could select them in editor, thought, but every time i clicked i had selected a object, even if i clicked place where background was.

    P.S. You changed the font of text entities, didn`t you?
    P.P.S. Link to downloading editor ends with editor0159r0011.swf, which don`t work. Should it be editor0159r001.swf?-----------------

    do you mean sometimes the link lines are not removed.
    Yes it is a bug, I will release a new build tomorrow, with the scale and flip APIs.
    The text font will also be changed back.-----------------

    I uploaded a new build v1.59r002, which added the flip and scale APIs.
    But there are still some problems in these APIs, mainly related to flipping or scaling shapes connecting with slider and hinge joints.
    I will try to fix these problems sooner.

    About the module system, maybe one thing I haven't mentioned.

    An assembled module can use an image, an image division or another assembled module as its part.
    An assembled module can't use self or a sequenced module as its part.
    And an assembled module X can't use another assembled module Y, which already use module X as a part, as a part.

    A sequenced module can't use another sequenced module as a part.
    This means a sequenced module can't be used as a part in any modules.-----------------

    The default max file size on phyard is 100k.

    Yeah! Hip, hip, hooray! :D
    This new editor opens up so many possibilities!
    Now we can say it's pretty much complete. It allows for making any sort of games (though some may take a lot of work), and now with the images and sounds, the last important features have been added.
    I'm having so much fun with it! Here's a really simple drop n' bounce based on Fenicx23's idea. Not really much of a challenge (only 4 pieces), but I find it funny. I'm hoping people will make more of these based on the idea, too!

    Posting a link to Phyard because file size is too large. I have a lot of empty spaces anyway, so i do not mind posting low quality levels once in a while =P)

    I'm having a hard time trying to find sounds files that work on the editor.
    Sometimes, files are loaded ok, but as you press the "Play" button on the sound pannel, it won't play.
    I have tried converting the mp3 file with an audio editing program, and changed pretty much every possible parameter (mono/stereo, quality, bit speed...) and nothing seems to work. In fact, I noticed that when a sound file doesn't work, it won't work without mattering the data type, and if it works, it will always play well.
    So I'm clueless here.-----------------

    I think it's almost complete. It needs to have copy and paste functions still in it, because it only makes big level codes possible. Example: you make a small game with load-, save- and edit-able levels. To save them, it gives you a string to post on the forum, save in a txt file etc. But if it is 1k letters long/has some foreign symbols it will be impossible to type by hands. That's why we need copy and paste from clipboard.
    If this function exists, where is it?

    EDIT found the audio bug too. Seems it always affects certain audio files. Even after reproducing them it dont work-----------------

    At current, CIE uses the flash native ap3 decoder. The document says only 11,025, 22,050 or 44,100 sample rates are supported. But i found there are many inaccurate places in the documents. I will add the .wav support in CIE.

    It was my first time seeing CIE lag [edit]I mean, heavily lag so a tick happens once in a several seconds, and it takes several ticks for stop button to react mouse over, then to react click. And it happened due to bug (I changed something)[/edit] because of physics. I don`t know how to reproduce it, but keep it in mind.-----------------

    You don't have to, level codes can be long.
    I have thought of making any editors so far, but the plans always fall in lack of copy and paste. It's really too hard to type so long texts by hand. And if you can't embed foreign symbols, that makes the codes even longer, which means that copy and paste are more needed.
    I or anyone else can't make a good game level editor without copy and paste.-----------------

    I edit this sound with Audacity by changing the data sampling format from 32bits float number to 16bits integer.
    Seems the quality is not decreased much.
