I'm way too tired to post a design, but... wanted to kick off the new year 2015! I'll post a 2015-related design after I get some sleep.
2015 = 5 * 13 * 31 2015 cannot be written as the sum of three perfect squares.
Math trick: Take a three-digit number with all digits identical (e.g. 333, 888, 999 but not 000) Divide by the sum of the digits (e.g. 888 / (8+8+8) or 888 / 24) Subtract 6 Multiply be 65 The answer is 2015!
2015 = 11111011111 in binary 133133 in base four 7DF in hexadecimal 11EE in dozenal (oh, so, close...)
Feel free to share cool facts about the number 2015.
EDIT: Residues modulo small n: n | 2015 mod n ================ 2 | 1 3 | 2 4 | 3 5 | 0 6 | 5 7 | 6 8 | 7
I wonder how this pattern continues...----------------- If less people are active, that will only make for even less activity. Start making those designs! Currently working on a one-round no-elimination quick RP game...
By the way, this is quite ridiculous. I mean, I know, time zones and such, but it's been almost 18 hours since my 2015 started, so I can't see (judging from where I live) why no one would notice.----------------- If less people are active, that will only make for even less activity. @Madball: Saw that. I wrote a script that converts 2015 to ten different bases.----------------- If less people are active, that will only make for even less activity. Start making those designs! Currently working on a one-round no-elimination quick RP game...
