Then it is a reduction formula? Like this: 11^3 = 10^3 + 33(10) + 1. You can multiply the 33*10 easily and compute 10^3 with the formula again. So, its purpose is a reduction formula.----------------- 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288... Nothing Here
close! the formula also works when x=2. GJ mathdude! its for finding squares and cubes of numbers if you know the previous number square or cube.----------------- puzzled
Correct! But you should use the Spoiler feature in case people want to think about it BEFORE seeing the answer. [sp?oiler=title] Text goes here [/spoi?ler] becomes (remove the ?)
You're not supposed to reveal the answer right away. You're supposed to let us guess, then reveal it after a while if no one guesses right.
Here's mine: Sixty-eight, ninety-five, ninety nine point seven, The confidence of this times one, two, three. If you see it bigger than in lowercase then, you can also use it as a sum for free.
The last part wasn't as good but I tried to make it rhyme.

It's funny because the (mathematical) empty set is an entirely plausible (but probably not intended) answer.
Everyone in me is dead: Nothing exists in the empty set, so therefore everything inside has any property. This is the vacuous truth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuous... but all the things I have are red: Vacuous truth. I often feel empty inside: The empty set is empty. as a set you can\'t divide: You cannot partition an empty set, as it has no elements.----------------- Hopefully PA is inconsistent.
