@BioManiac R2: It solves at around 4,000 steps, and I didn't add a speed up since it's laggy as it is.-----------------

    floppykiller\'s challenge

    Real solution:

I hope this counts, as I had to attach a joint to the brown and I modified the blue ball.-----------------

I tried to come up with a challenge... the goal was to escape...

    any advice?

    Real challenge:

    Rules:
    Only edit the red box
No triggers, GCs, user input, or module shapes
You may edit the INTERVAL of the timer to your liking, but nothing else premade may be edited

The goal is to have the black ball touch the button on the right corresponding to the color of the ball. Don\'t double touch. Must solve in all cases.
Red = slow, green is slightly faster, blue is faster, and yellow comes out the fastest. WARNING: Use this information right away or it will be absorbed! Use it or lose it! Now or never!

Also, you can attach joints to, or edit, the black ball. I'm also going to increase the number of trials to 5.-----------------

    A new challenge!

    The rules are pretty simple:
    - Don't edit any of the pre-made triggers (you are allowed to edit the pre-made objects)
    - Don't use the pre-made variables in your own triggers
    - Don't use the 'set level status' in any of your triggers
    - Make sure no user input is required
Edit: Don't add any infected, uninfected or dontInfect shapes to the game

Apart from that everything is allowed.

So, how do you win? There are three colors: red, green and blue. Those are put in a random order (for example: green, blue, red). It's your job to make a machine that will find that code 100% of the time.
Now, you have some tools to do this. As you can see there are three sets of three sensors. If all sensors in a row are triggered, the message box above it will tell how many of the colored balls fell through the right gap.
Example: if the code is green, blue red and you throw the red ball through the left sensor, the green through the middle and the blue through the right, your input will be red, green, blue. The first color in the code is green, but in your input it's red. Therefore you won't get a point for that. You neither got the second or the third color right. That will lead to 0 points. You should use that information to make sure you'll get the code right next time or else the third time.

Oh, and I know you win 1/6th of the time without doing anything, but remember the goal is to create a way so it will solve 100% of the time.

You never mentioned adding CI shapes:

    - Don\\'t edit any of the pre-made triggers (you are allowed to edit the pre-made objects) - Done.
    - Don\\'t use the pre-made variables in your own triggers - Done. No triggers used.
    - Don\\'t use the \\'set level status\\' in any of your triggers - Done. No triggers used.
    - Make sure no user input is required - Done.

Apart from that everything is allowed.

Ok, so here's how I would solve this puzzle if I had input:
    (1) Drop RRG. Get the result: 0, 1, or 2.
    (2) If 0, then it's GBR or BGR. Guess GBR.
    (3) If RRG is 1, then the possibilities are: GRB or RGB. Guess GRB.
    (4) If RRG is 2, then the possibilities are RBG or BRG. Guess is RBG.

So this way, I'm sure to win. Notice I had to reorganize the level drastically, but I really honestly couldn't see how to NOT do so without complex triggers of cloning etc.

You'll notice that in my design, after RRG, I drop multiple at once. This is because one is destined to win, so why not release both? It allows for simpler design and code:

Challenge... oh, what is this? I think challenge 9.

Note that you seem to win 1/4 of the time without doing anything.

EDIT: AAUGH! You're too good at this! MUST! MAKE! HARDER!

    The top yellow is sensor

My best ATTEMPT at an entry to 9A

It's not 100%, but it's reasonable. A true 100% would require lots and lots of testing. Right now, the ball tends to get stuck if the container places the yellow on peg five, six, or seven. Pegs two and three win almost always (but one time on peg three the ball went into the little gap on the left and never came out!), and peg nine is also good. But five, six, and seven are troublesome. One time on peg seven the ball was in the "ditch" and the crazy machine barely touched it.-----------------

uhh, what is supposed to be random?
the position of the thingy and timing of the ball being released?
    or are the two corelated?
how many positions can the yellow be in anyway?-----------------

    (1) The ball is released at a totally random moment. You can never expect it coming.
    (2) The yellow can be in 8 positions-----------------

probably could be simplified a little bit, but I like it

oh, also, I added a trigger to iterate through the positions instead of having it random. it does them all, and stops when it's done.
