Hey, I made another challenge. Get the ball to the exit.

    Rules:
    • No Triggers, Power Sources, or User Input
    • Density from 1 to 100, Friction from 0 to 3, Restitution between 0 and 1
    • No joints attached to the background or the initial platform
    • Use creativity!
    • Speed is NOT a bonus. Creativity is.
    • No infected, uninfected, or sensor shapes
    • You're not allowed to mess with the initial velocity settings.

EDIT: There is a purple box and another button, which will release the swing rope. You can position the mechanism where you want as long as it is within the purple box.

so I got to the cliff and then was confused what to do... without user input and without programming it, getting a bot that swings on it's own and doesn't die and THEN releases on its own is a lot harder than you'd think... I got it to grab on and swing and cross....

    * 1 hour later *

I'm actually really happy with this. It isn't a win... yet... but I'd say it's damn close enough and should be called a win.... curse your little ramp at the end!!

okay, fixed it up. I had to delete the one rotational joint on the swing because the ball kept stretching like a string, so I made it brothers and it works well now.

    Happily done :)

Wow, I really have to give credit to Bio for solving my challenge!
I've just now made it easier. Now, when you press the second button, the rope will release (well, the ball hook will die). You can position it where you want.-----------------

Honestly, I've tried SO many times to create a timed booster (using joints) that will leap over the chain (since I couldn't get it to swing normally).
Everything either breaks the car, glitches out, flips the car over, or jumps far too early.

as I said you need to delete the joint on the chain between the ball and the block and make those two brothers, otherwise it just stretches uncontrollably and messes up.

Also since I didn't reach the yellow block until I won I didn't know you could drive into it, I will try again now to get my bot across too ;)

Started from scratch again, so I'd say I'm very happy with this again. The 2nd button really helps :D
